WHAT: 6 week Intramural Basketball Program for Boys and Girls in grades K-3.
*There will be (2) separate division, K-1st (D1) and 2nd-3rd (D2)
* Boys and Girls will be separated into co-ed teams of 5 to 7 players participating in (1) 60 minute game/practice session a week on Saturdays.
* Each Saturday will start off with all players taking part in a 25 min. (group) fun training session, to help them gain basic basketball skills.
* After a brief break, the players will separate out into teams and begin playing a series of short (8 min.) games.
* During the games, there will be NO SCORE and the clock will run continuously.
* Each Saturday's game will consist of (6) 8 minute long periods, with a short half time after (3) periods.
* During the games, there will be NO SCORE and the clock will run continuously.
WHEN: Division #1 games will begin Saturday, August 9th and run through Saturday, September 13th.
Division #2 practices will start the week of August 3th, with games beginning Saturday, August 9th and running through Saturday, September 13th.
(There will be no games played, by either division, Labor Day weekend!)
WHERE: All practices and games will be held in Tuohy Hall at CKS.
COST: The cost is $25 for each participant. Each participant will get a TEAM SHIRT and an “End of Season” participatio
